Prom 2010

As parents of four children, we have participated, paid for, watched, and photographed a LOT of proms....7 to be exact. These days, getting ready for the prom is practically like a wedding. Girls pay to have their hair and nails done, spend weeks tanning, and even buy garters (what is up with that!). But once the hooplah is over, it is always fun to look at all the cute pictures and do a little ooh-ing and awe-ing. And I decided to share them with you as well.

This is our third child, Christiana. She was, obviously, the best looking girl in the whole place. (I may be a bit partial). And I might add, she paid for her own dress with babysitting money, she had her sister do her hair, she painted her own nails and with no order from mom, she said no way to the garter. She wants to save that for the real deal. She did however do some tanning.

Her date is her boyfriend of a little over a year....the sweet, blue eyed boy named Andy.
