"A man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." Proverbs 16:9

My mind does plan my way but undoubtedly, the Lord is in charge of directing my steps. He ordains the path, arranges my circumstances and I fully trust His direction in spite of my efforts to plan. I am learning that His ways and thoughts are higher than mine in spite of my need and want of things to be different. I trust His sovereignty. I had plans, have plans, will always be planning but ultimately I am willing to submit to the authority of God's plan for my life. I would not want it any other way even in spite of the pain and sadness that accompanies the change of plans.

I will go out in joy and be led forth in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song before me and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. (Isaiah 55:12)Clap your hands, oh trees of the field. Burst out into song, oh mountains and hills. Here I come.

I live for the applause of God alone.
