"What a day! Up at 5:30 am, made coffee, ironed Joe's clothes, looked over my lesson for my Sunday morning class, prayed, showered, typed a letter to the parents about the children's Christmas program, made it to church by 8:30. We had a great class as we finished up our study from Colossians 3:1-12. Then I was off to the running around "like a chicken" as I like to say. Had to finish up last minute preparation for the children's classes. Forgot the straws we needed for Lil' K class and sent my friend Bob to McDonalds to grab them. Thank goodness for those who don't mind helping at the last minute. Love the Bob's. They are always so willing to help. Once everything was settled with the kids, I found my seat in the sanctuary and actually caught the pre-service video on being thankful. It was awesome. And then church was awesome too. It was the last sermon in the Bucket List series. Joe moved the casket that was on the stage to the very front of the steps to the stage. At the end, after listing our fears on a "blank sheet of paper" (Joe is so funny. He actually typed that on a little blank sheet of paper that was inserted in the bulletin), he had us come forward and throw our crumpled lists into the casket. They are actually going to take the casket away in a hearse and cremate all the paper. I hope my fears really are cremated. They can be so debilitating. Anyway, we had a great lunch at Minerva's with some new friends we've met in church. I must do lunch with her again. Joe and I napped for about an hour. He had to leave to get ready for the Salsa Service. I puttered around the house for a bit and then showed a house. Shopped at WalMart. Visited with my mom on my cell phone for two hours while I shopped and ran through drive thru for the ice needed at the Salsa Service. Then I went to church again for the Salsa Service. I love this time. I am so proud of Ross. And thankful for all the college kids who come seeking more meaning in life. I think the salsa and chips help too. Got home at 10:00 pm and made grilled ham and cheese for my fam.I'm beat. But it is a good beat. Time for bed. Tomorrow is another busy day."

- Prepare for Sunday's Advent class
- Print and organize needed materials for Ch Church
- Don't forget Thanksgiving is Thursday!

Oh, Robin! Dave can vouch for me here-the whole way through this blog I kept telling him all the funny stuff and saying, "This is a wonderful blog post!" I mean I just loved the whole thing and I sensed the lightheartedness in your spirit. I was just loving it so much. I was already thinking: I have to do a post telling people to read this because it is so great. Then I get to the bottom and I get mentioned!!?! Omygoodness. Robin, thank-you. I L O V E this post - first because it was great, and second because I got mentioned. HOW SWEET!
Oh my gosh! That was one of the funniest things I've ever read! The part about the message board... hahahaha! SO funny! Good idea, mom :) Oh, and are you really sending me a care package??
